Members of the Egypt Fire Department hung an American flag at the entrance of White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, where P.O. Mazurkiewicz rests in peace. The "Ride for Maz" motorcade visited the park during the ride from Henrietta to Fairport.
Joanne Strong (far right), spouse of NY IV member John Strong, joins three generations of the Mazurkiewicz family, including Tony's spouse, Lynn (second from right), at Roc On Harley-Davidson in Henrietta.
Family, friends and loved ones gather in front of the Mazurkiewicz home to show their support for the memorial motorcade that featured more than 200 bikes.
A group shot of NY IV members who volunteered to support the "Ride for Maz" and its primary sponsor, Roc On Harley-Davidson of Henrietta, NY. We were joined by fellow Blue Knights from the NY 5 and NY 22 chapters.
As a welcome reminder that the "Ride for Maz" was an event for friends and family of all ages, Joanne and John Strong's granddaughters, Jenna and Taylor, helped served food at the picnic following the memorial ride. VFW Post 8495 of Fairport hosted the picnic.
The "Ride for Maz" raffle table, located front and center at Roc On Harley-Davidson, featured numerous prize baskets, with donations from supporters throughout the Rochester area.

More than 200 bikes and 300 supporters filled the parking lot at Roc On Harley-Davidson in preparation for the "Ride for Maz," in memory of fallen officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on July 21, 2022.
On Saturday, August 26, members of Blue Knights NY IV joined with the owner and staff of Roc On Harley-Davidson of Henrietta, NY, as well as several other local charitable organizations, to hold a benefit "Ride for Maz" in memory of fallen Rochester (NY) Police Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on July 21, 2022. After several months of planning, organizers and participants were rewarded on the day of the event with perfect weather; the day's activities kicked off with breakfast and morning assembly at the dealership and continued with a fully escorted motorcade ending at VFW Post 8495 in Fairport. Approximately 200 motorcycles registered for the benefit, including representatives of Blue Knights chapters NY 5 and NY 22.

On September 27, 2023, members of Blue Knights NY IV rode to Knucklehead's Brew House in Westmoreland to break bread with fellow Knights from four other chapters (including Florida!). This was the second consecutive year for this multi-chapter meetup and hopes are this will become an annual event for all participants. (Photos courtesy of Don Lucas.)
